Will Mazda 3 17" Rims work?

Hi,
Just got the car, and the "funny" previous owner gave me a extra set of winter wheels with studs, but no rims for them!
The wheels are 265/65r17.
The thing is that I can get a set of alu rims from a Mazda 3, which are 6.5" J 17, et 52.5mm axel 67.1mm thus the tyres will fit the rim, and the rim have almost the same spec's as the original to my car.
The rims Mazda original 9965-16-6570
My question, is there any reason they would not fit?(uhm)

Putting up a lot of money for stud tyres that I will use 2 months every year sounds crazy....(boom07)

The 17" tire size for the CX-5 is 225/65r17
The 19" tire size for the CX-5 is 225/55r19

Yes, the Mazda 3 wheels will fit, but your 265/65 tires are the wrong size. Way too big.

Your fully right, one "65" to much, They are 225/65r17.

i am running 17 in rims from a Mazda 3 or 6. (Same rim) and they work well
