First off, sorry I did not know where to post this. Also, please no yelling if I didn't search, but, will I be able to buy the tweater pods in the MSP and put them in my MP3? Also, what about the shift knob and pedals. Thanks

The tweeters will for sure fit, as that was an optional upgrade in the 2002.5 mid-cycle refresh. The pedals should be a direct switch as well.

The shift knob might not work. The shorter stick that was in the MP3 has a different thread than the stock Protege. I assume this to be true of the Mazdaspeed Protege as well.

So, bringing back this old thread, is the stock mazdaspeed shifter threaded like the mp3 or the normal protege?

just curious, since i cant find any threads about the threading.
