Will emanage adjust timing for N/A p5?

A friend of mine was using this with his Imprezza (OBD II) and suggested it might help with doing timing advance with my P5.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience on the subject?

yes emanage can tune timing..

if you want to just advance your timing, you could always get a mp3 ecu

The mp3 ecu won't give any incremental adjustment, though, right? It's kind of just a few HP's anyway, I'm assuming with the emanage I could put in premium fuel and advance it a bit more.

I wonder if tuning the fuel would be of benefit as well for N/A?

yes, it would...stock a/f's suck, you could make alot of power just by tuning it.

yeah with just fuel tuning alone you could make some decent gains...but with fuel and timing you could make impressive numbers with pretty much no other mods...

The factory ECU is just about the most restrictive part of the FS...

Say more -- MSP's are having some kind of fried coil pack problem?

Anyway, I just gone my emanage. I wonder where I could get some MAPs for NA P5? Any ideas?

What EMS's are available for the protege? I've heard there's a plug and play AEM ECU, but are there others that will give control over timing, fuel maps, etc? Also, how much are they?

I might be able to get a few fuel maps for the NA Protege, but any info on systems would be fantastic.
