Will an off-the-shelf GT25R fit into an MSP without problem?

My turbo died. If I order a GT25r from, say, ATPturbo.com, how will the install differ from that if I ordered it directly from Mazda? They're both GT25r's sure, but wasn't the one made for our cars modified slightly? I refer to this:

ATP wants $1,000 while Mazda is demanding $2,500. You can understand my concern.

The sticky thread in this section states:
Garrett GT25R
OEM Replacement. Depending where you perchance this turbo from it could be OEM or could be directly from Garrett or other cars that use the same size turbo. Depending where you perchance it from differs the ease of install. Directly from Mazda it will be 100% direct fit.

So if I purchase it from ATP, what exactly will I have to do to my car (if anything), to make it work out?

Call and talk to ATP. They have direct bolt on turbos for the MSP. They know what they are talking about and will point you in the right direction.

Even if it wont, as long as the center sections are the same, which it should be, any good compitent turbo shop could swap out the housings on your stock turbo over to the new one, then it will definitely fit. The housings shouldnt be bad off your old one, unless you really blew it up, so the center section should be all you need.
