Im looking forward to swapping in a new transmission this spring/summer and I know I will need an impact wrench to do certain things such as taking off the main nut INSIDE the transmission so I can take the guts out. Ebay has used electric impact wrench that have anywhere from 200-300 ftlbs of torque. Harborfreight has a nice one that has 240. I think air wrenches have around 400. Does anyone have any experience with electric ones? At the moment I cannot afford to pay for a compressor and the tools. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks, Rory
