will 205/55R16 tires fit OEM rims?

Hi, just wondering if 205/55R16 fit my protege 5 OEM rims? they came with 195/50 16 tires.

about 5% bigger than OEM in diameter size, but they should fit.

they fit. I have that size on my race rims (aka stockers). Don't ask y so big...that's just how it worked out...

THey will fit, but closer to stock height would be a 205/45

They will fit just fine but I had them on mine for a while and if you put an adult in the back seat they will rub.

def not rubbing the fenders...I auto-x w/ that size on stock wheels, and It's not rubbing.

i bought my car with those size rims and ive had many adults in the back seat and it never rubbed so yea they fit

i have 1fastmp5's rims, and he ran 205/55/16 azenis on the stock rims. they worked out fine on his car and my car as well. i think 1fastmp5's car was lower than mine even, and no rubbing

once again they fit fine, but I can say with my suspension setup the tires do rub the underside of the strut under hard cornering. Nothing I've ever felt or heard, but I can see the marks on the underside of the strut when changing my wheels after autocrossing.

Can anyone tell me if 15in. rims that where on these vehicle would fit on a P5? seems like they have the same bolt pattern but I need advice

if the are 5 lug they should fit fine! i use 195/65/14's with my snow tires!

Mine rubbed on the fenders. Although it was a pretty big adult that was in the back and me and my wife were in the front and we aren't the smallest either. But still they did rub when I hit a decent bump on the freeway. I now run 205/50r16s and they don't rub at all.

I just ordered a set of BFG Traction T/A's at Costco in 205/50-16. They should be in this week.

i just put in Yokohama ES100s 205/50s on mine and I think the 205/50s look the best on the stockers especially if your slightly lowered ( i have Eibachs). They look beefier and tad higher than 195/50s.
