14's will fit no problem at all. I had them on my mp3, and there are quite a few p5's around here with them

yes 14"s fit fine, i got my setup for about $400 out the door.

Got P17570R14's here and love them. They are just as safe as 15" and cost a lot less. Got mine for $630 (rims tires install tax)

I mounted 4 Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tires on 14'' steelies and they work fine. The only problem is, if you've got anyone in the back seat or weight in the hatch, the damn car rubs like crazy around even the slightest corner.

Why should it? If the wheel/tire combination has the same diameter as the stock wheel it should not rub.

I just put 14's on my P5 2 weeks ago. A lot cheaper than the 15's ad don't look bad at all. Drives fine and kinda look mean with black steal wheels when your driving the black Mica P5 8)

most ppl recommend me to put on 185/65 R14, so what is the different and problem if i put that 185/60 R14 on???

I don't know if I have the wrong offset or what, the point is they rub like crazy around corners. I didn't even put them on the car, the mazda stealership I got the car from did it.

The 185/60 R14 is not as tall of a tire, so the speedometer will be off a bit. But either size will work fine for you.

Why do you not just get snow tires for the stock rims? Don't even bother telling me because of a skinnier tire plowing through snow.

WTF dp you think the people with 235's are running? Let alone our tires are only 195's. My old Contour ran 205 with zero problems. Just to save money, i will be getting 196 50 h 16's for snow tires from Toyo. The site does not list them yet when you go into the store they will give you a price quote for that size on the Observe.

It is like some of you all talking a bout a winter beater. WTF do you think you and I drive? Get over the car, it isn't that great. And deal with it instead of the monkey replies that are about to come forth.
