....Pole wins.

LOL. I've seen other winners on this contest: garage door, underground parking lots, curbs. While the losers were: mirror, right front door, left sliding door w/ minor scratches (scratch)... ;)

Well, bumper at last, I agree with Rocket, that should be able to come out.

BTW, Cool License Plate, me likes that :D

Yeah, I think it'll pop out. I'll try to take the cover off later and persuade it back into shape. Didn't crack or rip, so a repaint and it may be good (almost) as new.

My wife played this game in the winter with our new MS3 and lost. You could have PM'ed me about that experience so that we you could tell your wife about the outcome BEFORE she decided to play the game...LOL.

Exactly the same corner and shape of dent a black MZ5 I saw the other day.

Actually, your bank account will be the real loser.

FYI up here in canada we take them bumps out all the time. Let a professional do it with a heat gun and then repaint. You will be surprised the finish you get. Make sure you protect them clips as you could be forced to replace the cover if they do not latch... if they dont just glue it on

Ok ok.....You wife isn't the only one.....I wrecked my front bumper back in the spring....Ended up having to replace the whole front bumper...Set me back about $750.......

Ewww, ok so my experience is not as bad as that but I was still furious today(looking back more at myself for not reacting faster I guess)

I was working on my deck this afternoon and my almost 2 year old daughter decides to try and get on her little tricycle. (yeah you know where it is going)

I notice her get on and think ok, she is quite a ways from car still no need to get up. Get busy working look up and OMG, she is now starting to ride beside the damn car down the driveway... run towards her and sure enough the dang tricycle heads right at the door!!
Left handle car hits the drivers door, leaves a nice scratch and when I grabbed the left handle bar and pull it back the damn right handle bar swings around and hits the door leaving another small mark!

Hate that I cussed in front of the kids but I just couldn't help myself. Poor kids, never yelled at her but she didnt know the difference I bet.

I tried waxing it, helped a bit, but I can still see them pretty easily, of course nobody else can which I suppose makes me feel a little better (NOT) ;)
Not deep enough to get the colour but its deep enough to catch finger nail in it so the clear coat is damaged pretty good. Guess I will live with it (reality says there are plenty more to come from peoples doors and stuff still)

At least they are below the door trim line and you have to bend down to see them so only when I wash will I get reminded. You know I don't get upset about stone chips and things because I just figure thats the price for driving the car but I hate when things like that happen, driving into poles, peoples dogs jumping up on it, cats, and kids ;)

oh, good... it wasn't actually your wife vs. a pole

she was driving a car...

Actually came out pretty well. The bumper was actually easy to take off. We haven't gone to the body shop yet to see what they have to say about replacement or just some filler/paint. Has a few small waves left but a new bumper was $765 painted.

(iagree). If you are not very picky on details just a good paint will do. As I said, it is the bumper. A door panel or the hood, that would be a different story IMO (eek2)
