Being married (or in a relationship at all), we all know how easy it is to b**** and complain about our wives and how they don't understand us or what we love to do (live and breath performance). I thought it would be good to swap the good stories about our spouses- keep a positive vibe going.

Maybe your wife got you that blow off valve you've had your eye on.

... or maybe after spending all Saturday installing new side skirts she says: "your car looks nice, did you do something different?"

or your wife say's :
"Honey I bought this new Bikini, it's blue like you car. Can I wear it to the car show this weekend and make you look like a the pimp that you are?!!!!"

tell your stories. it will probably make you feel good!

"Honey, I was looking through those rims booklets you had on the table.. I found a few I think you should get..."

"Happy birthday, here's the JIC RX-8 model."

Or on the day I got my damage: "Start looking into prices for a new bumper..."

I Love my wife.

Too many stories to count... lol We both mod our cars and the UPS man knows us on a first name basis. "Thats all I have to say about that." lol

ya to many stories for me. I think the greatest she said was when we were talking about her 1979 f150 we are suppose to getting from her dad, it a 4x2 (perfect for me) and has a 460 in it. and she wants twin turbos on it. God i love this woman.

the last night while watch monster garage they called the Army Americas elite force. and all she said back was
"Army????? Elite force???? I thought thats what the Marine Corps was." (rockon)
keep in mind that her mom and aunt retired from the army and her dad was in the army also during 'Nam. so she is an army brat. but she is married to a Marine.

My wife bought me my Neuspeed N2 header for my Prelude a couple years ago. She's not into cars quite like I am, but I'm training her. I taught her to drive a stick, and now she hates automatics, so I can always buy cars with manual trannies.

My favorite wife story is this:
She used to play GT2 with me a lot, and she new that the Spoon cars in the game always have carbon fibre hoods. So one day we were driving up the road and a white Dodge Stratus with a black hood was coming the other direction, and she saw it and said it looked like a Spoon Stratus. That made my day.

1) When I was shopping for seats for the P5..... she said as she sits in a few models: "You better make sure that you get one for the passenger seat....I think it looks dumb with just the driver's seat.... and besides I like how they feel.

2) When I was installing my turbo kit... as she hands me a beer.... "can you explain how a turbo system works? I want to be able to understand what is happening when we get this thing running."

3) Last Christmas she bought me an air compressor!!!!!!!!

Mine got me Stainless steal Brake lines to go along with my new Rotorworks Rotors! I don't know where they were purchaced. They were just sitting on my passenger seat one morning when I left for work.

My GF of 6 years isn't into cars. She sometimes shows an interest, but refuses to buy anything car-related as a gift to me. :(

I will share a not so good, and a good story about my fiance.

When the RX-8 came out, I like jizzed myself cause it is such an awsome car, and I was telling her about it and she seemed all into it. Well after she seen the car she totally hates it, and doesn't like it.

HOWEVER! She thinks I should have one, and she is starting to get into mazdas more and more. Not only that but she doesn't have problems with me getting things for my truck, and at times even sets aside money so I can spend on things like that!

Oh....and I love it when we are driving down the road and some neon with a 30 foot wing and half painted kit goes by she yells out "Do you realize how stupid you and your car look with that crap on it?" or some comment on that line!

Well, since my Fiance burned a small hole in my pass seat, she is gonna buy me new seats for Xmas. :D

On top of that, she delt with me and my NCCA bulls***. She stuck it out, and now I HAVE A BETTER understanding of her love for me. THATS what makes her the most important woman in my life. :D

man!!!!!!!

Today is my wifes birthday and all these stories are making me want to buy her something more special than what i got her.
Most of us are on this forum because we found something we all have in common that we like (mazdas). And it seems that we have also found something else in common.
Call me sappy but these stories are fun to share, and in the world we live in it's nice to smile and hear something positive.
Keep em comming.

Family first!
