wierd tire wear. on stock wheels, tires, suspention.

so first off i realize that these tires are extremely wore and illegal and whatnot. i drove a different car when it rained. i was trying to get to winter and have failed. i am not necessarily disappointed in the 35000 miles i have gotten out of these. I check tire pressure every week and inflate them to stock door 34front 32back.

i have weird tire wear on the insides of some of my tires. one has worn to the point of ripping and starting to delaminate on the inside. here are some pictures of the tire.

so does anybody know what's going on?
it seems like stock tire pressures are a bit low.
from what i've read this may be too much toe out?

needless to say i'm getting new tires. any suggestions? there are some Hankook Ventus R-S2's on tirerack for 85bucks a tire on closeout. the reviews aren't awesome but does anybody here have any experience with them? any other suggest tires?

Well if you replaced them probably 10,000 miles ago, the small difference of wear from side to side on the tire would have been barely noticeable... If you check the pressures regularly, also check the tread depth.. That is beyond the point of risk of blowout.

if its rears i woudl say camber.

i ffront. possible camber. or toe out.

i think our Rack and pinion is about level. so if you lowered the car and no alignment, you woudl probably get the tow change.

35k out of stock bridgestones? Unheard of... those tires should have been replaced 15k ago at least. Those were simply unsafe for a VERY VERY VERY long time! LOL... Cooper has some real nice tires out now, very good wear ratings and great adhesion to the road.

I seriously hope you're not planning on driving on those. That is a blowout waiting to happen.

My friend has a 350Z, and his bald ass tires looked just like that, almost identical wear pattern. (He just had a blowout) I think its just the factory camber specifications. 35K is a helluva lot out of those tires, my car has 14k an I'm probably 1-2k from the wear bars.

35,000 yeah.

30,000 plus sint.
i have 33,000 miles but i have like 1/32 left, lol. but all even wear.

I know, I am amazed. I am on my 3rd set of tires and know several guys keeping up with me. We also run A/S or Winter specific tires for better than 6 months of the year.

I'll just reiterate what was said already, those should have been taken out of service a LONG time ago. Can't believe you didn't have a blow out on those...

Seriously, I thought getting 25K out of mine was alot. Those tires look absolutely disgusting. If anything, there's probably uneven wear because there is absolutely no tread left what so ever. Even though you're a danger on the road with those on, I do commend you though for getting the most mileage out of those tires, good job.

i worked at discount tire for like 5 years and ntb for like 4....ne way it looks like camber wear alignment.......
the other posibility could be the tire is defective and it starting to seperate on the inside which is possible... honestly i really cant tell without touchin the tire or takeing it of the wheel and lookin inside
