xelderx said:Depends on ride height and tire size. Running a 15" rim gives you more room to play, but anything wider than a 225 series tire will probably not fit in the fender well. You also need to consider that the wider rim/tire setup you go with will also be increasing you rotational/unsprung wieght and actually hurt performance. I'm going to run a 15x7 w/ 225 series tires this season for AutoX as soon as I can afford the new wheels.

xelderx said:Remember that when you drop to a 15 inch wheel you are going to be getting tires that have a much taller sidewall than what you are used to. Depending on the tires this is going to give you a lot more traction than a low profile tire of the same width because of deflection in the sidewall. I think you are going to be doing more harm than good and run into bigger fitment problems trying to stick more than a 225 series tire on a 7 or 7.5 inch rim.
