with the 17x8 and 205-40-17 tires 35mm offset all around.
just a tad bit of camber would have been golden for clearance and the rubbing issue.
or if you dont want camber added, just get the fender pulled a tiny bit.
My rear fenders are rolled FLAT of course. front fenders are untouched.
with that wheel set up. 205-40 tires would be the max you would want to run.
of course running the Falken Ziex would be best for the stretch.
I was also considering 195-40 but are hard to come by. I love stretch, on a dumped ride of course...meaning tire tuck.
My current set up (3 spokes) is about 3mm pushed in compared to my last one.
they are 16x7 with 25mm offset. but I went with the wrong tire size, so its killing me with the rubbing issue on the REAR only.
205-50-16 profile tires.
And you gotta love how the protege fenders are. its like a mini wide body, mix that with an aggressive wheel setup. the car looks intimidating.
