Wide body kits?

Mazdaspeed is a factory lip kit on a standard OEM bumper (P5 front, sedan rear). So, I disagree.

And the BC2 look as rice as any other kit available for the protege.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I've seen BC2 that looks rice, but if done well it looks good.

I've seen a couple installations of it I didn't hate. but theres no way in gods name I'd spend money on it or let it come near my car. Same for a wide body kit on a pro. Maybe someone can pull it off.. but I just don't think it looks right.

I'm with you, lol. Especially the wide kits. I think custom fender flares could look good, but both the wide kits look like complete 2f2f crap!

DGmotorsports.com

They have a widebody in carbon fiber and fiberglass.

The only one out there. Wingwest is NOT a widebody, its more of a "flare" kit. all show no go.

if you're doing it to fit meatier rubber, I guess I could see it being called "for performance" just indirectly.

yeah and while we are at it we can run a saw cut up the fenders, remove the hood, fenders, int, and everythign else on the car thats not needed for it to run. Just justify it them as go mods while we are at it by way of weight reduction!

Edit: no need to add more weight to fit beefy tires just cut out the areas that are rubbing with tin spins and your golden!!! lmfao So I guess a CF hood is a go mod to because it makes the car weigh less?

I'm with you on this one.

Only if it's wide body to fit wide wheels then it's worth it, or if it's a rx7 3rd hen, there's some killer kits out there, but they are also widebody (ones I like) lol

anybody who puts ANY bodykit on an MSP doesn't deserve the car.

or the money they're spending on the bodykit.

Thank you!!
Took the words right outa my mouth.

Spend the money on a nice set of coilovers. Or Nice wheels.

well the MSP already has a body kit soooooo you gonna stack another wing on your wing? Or just buy a Geo or Fiesta:
