By the way, info on hooking the TechEdge up to a PDA:

I want to use my PDA for data logging. Are there any additional
cables
I will need to hook up to my Palm m515? This is the Palm m515:
http://www.palm.com/products/palmm515/

I already have the Nology PDA Dyno
(http://www.nology.com/pdadyno.html),
and it has a cable that goes to serial on the other end.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, you must make sure you only connect pins 2 and 5 to the PDA, this may mean some mods, or a special cable.

Peter.

Pins 2 & 5 on the Serial side or the PDA side?

The WB unit doesn't use a "standard" RS232 connector
as some of the pins are connected to non-RS232 signals.

Only the WB-unit's DB9 pins 2 and 5 should be connected
to an RS232 device.

I need the oxygen sensor that you say seems to be in short supply.
How's the supply lately?

Pat, try http://www.oxygensensor.net/ not cheap, but available!!!!

One more thing,
How long will the order take to reach me?

About 7 days after we ship - we don't necessarily
ship the same day we get your order, so we say 10 to 14 days after you order.

So patrick the wideband is 320 constructed
$20 for shipping, about $50 for taxes, and $139 for the wideband 02 sensor.
Thats $529 for a full wideband system with sensor, display ect
Not bad at all.:D

FJO is almost 800 beans and and MOTEC is 1100:eek:
However for those of you that want to get something from here, this is pretty cool and similarly priced available in the U.S.;)

EFI UEGO 1000 Wideband O2 Kit

We just purchased a wideband and I will be running the Greddy a/f meter in my s2000. So I will cross verify how accurate the greddy unit $300 is compared to the real thing. Supposedly they are pretty dead on acurate but I will verify it;)

any updates on this, This will be my next purchase, unless the greddy is really that accurate.

Accually Terry, Peter at Techedge says that the PayPal price is usually all that buyer here in the US have to pay? By the way, no updates yet. Limited funds lateley.

sweet, i will be ordering this next week. What is the install like on this?,How long will it take to get? i am getting the whole kit with the display screen.

I ordered the TechEdge-WideBand 1.5 unit, 2.6m cable, 5301 display, and D/A cable. Also got the WB sensor from a guy on Ebay. Haven't been able to install yet though as I'm awaiting a new header-to-cat pipe which I'll weld an additional bung in. You could install it in the stock pipe if desired.
