Wich Blizzaks?

After the few inches of snow we got here in chicago I realized I need winter tires desperately on the MS3 and found a set of 16" steelies with 215/65/16 Blizzaks and was just wondering which tire these were? Also wondering if these were a good winter tire?

hmmm, potentially WS40's? Only because of that really blocky tread pattern. If they are WS40's, they're excellent. My friend used them on his stock Civic and in heavy snow/hills they outperformed by Focus that wore "better" Blizzak Revo1's.

Have you test fitted the 16's yet? Confirmed fit?

You better test fit those 16s.Not all 16s will fit our car but some will.

well i fit the wheels on my car but i seem to have a problem. They look like they clear the front calipers but just barely. But when i drove the car around the block the front was going everywhere the steering wheel would just bounce back left and right and not stay straight. Then there seems to be some sort of rubbing noise coming from the back left for some reason. Is there anything that would cause that? Or are these just not gonna work? The guy I bought them from is willing to take them back if they don't work but I am just trying to be optimistic i guess...

hmm, that tire size is bigger in diameter than stock. stockers are 215/45/18 with a 25.7" diameter. For winter I'm running 205/60/16 which has about the same diameter. The tires you have are around 26.9" (this will vary a bit depending on rim width and tire model). That could cause rubbing, which could cause your steering madness but I'm not sure. The factory diameter fills the wells pretty good, I don't know how much extra room there is for taller tires.
