why do people hate civics?

i was extremely close to buying a gsr swapped eg hatch before i got the mp3.

before i looked that that i looked at a few si's and even a type r. sometimes i wish i had gotten one of those, for the amount of money ive put into this car, i could be in the 12's.
 
Civics are number 2 on my hated cars list. 1st is definitely grand ams (g'dams). Not because people do anything to g'dams, but just because they are everywhere. Go to walmart, 35 g'dams. EVEN LATE NIGHT. Same problem with civics. Too many

nice...but how many JDM civics have u seen?? i mean i love the look, but a fixed up civic is pretty common. i my area JDM civics are everywhere

id rather see 50 jdm cars than 2 ricer mobiles -=P
 
it's definitely not the civic itself that is the problem. it's the billy badasses who have a completely stock civic minus an intake and fartcan and thinks they can take mustangs cause their APC sticker and bleacher style wing will give them the edge. i've seen so many punkasses in civics with a slower car than mine who thinks that just because it's a civic with mods in poor taste, that he can take me. i personally love how much potential the b16's and b18's have, but it's their owners and their pompous arrogance that bugs me. i'm not saying all of them are, cause i know a bunch of people with 12 second civics who are cool as hell even though they have a fast ass car (my cousin being one of them). then there are those civic owners who own 18 second civics who act like they own 13 second civics. unfortunately, some of that crowd has migrated to the mazda niche.
 
jdm is teh win. well not so much. but clean is always best.

im getting a kia now, i see kdm as the new trend yo.
 
I started hating Civics when the 2000 SI came out. My buddy owned one and was always talking s*** "SI this, SI that", so I started building a hate for all Hondas and Acuras. But I bought a 2004 Sedan last year for the wife, and Im thinking of leasing a TSX as a weekend car. Im being sucked in by Honda, not to mention they gave me a way better interest rate then Mazda did.
