Why are people asshats and think they are hard??

Everytime I see a MP3 or MSP around here, I give them a flash of the lights and a quick wave. Why does everyone look at me like they think they are ******* tough or something?? I am just saying whats up, nice car man...good taste...why does everyone have to be a dick?

I give a nod and wave to most mazdas on the road. And I've noticed that per capita, I get more waves from P5 owners, 6s owners and miata owners than any others. The people in MP3's I've talked to seem to think I'm some crazy kid or something...I don't think many of them are as enthusiatic about their cars as they should be, but whatever right. To most of the population a car is nothing more than something to get from point A to B...to me a car is an extension of my personality..and I'm tired of being the slow kid...thats getting fixed. I'm no longer the slow kid, I'm now the average kid...come next spring I'll be the advanced kid....bootin down the road like a ******* king..a ******* king.

I wave at msp and mp3 owners but there are only like 4 around here. I see alot of p5 but it is mostly old people, but i have seen some with exhuast and such.

I use to wave but I got the same response. Everyone just looked at me. But there was this one MSP that use to work around me and we'd honk and wave at eachother but I havent seen him an a couple of months.

I haven't gotten acknowledgement from any mazda users in a long time. Last time it was months ago and I was driving next to a black Mazda3 wagon and the guy recognized his brother.

Same thing happens to me. I flash or nod or whatever & they look at me like Im mildly retarded. I think the problem is most dont realize that their car is "special" as far as being limited in production & thats why your doing the nod or what not. Not that I dont do it to people in regular Pros & 5's & dont get the same thing.....

The worst ones now adays is that it seems like alot of these "tough guy" "thug wannabes" are buying 3's...so good luck getting any kind of positive reation from them..... wouldnt want to disrupt their "gangsta lean"

whenever i pull next to a Mz3 to give them the thumbs up, they rev at me try to race(but not in a fun, nice car, lets test em out sorta way). The gangsta, i'm gonna smoke you way. When you pull a couple cars on them they chill out real quick though.
