Yup, I agree gene, in two comparable cars, it definately comes down to the driver. Even someone driving a car with a slight disadvantage(in my case me in my P5 and that guy in his 323i) driver style and ability can play a huge role. I feel that I am a decent driver, with the ability to articulate power into something useful(like tearing up some poor guy who thinks his car is bad ass) It's all in "feeling" the car out. You need to know the apex of its performance charectaristics, and exploit them every time you get into a street racing situation. Our protege's may not be the fastest things, but you guys really have to sit down, and start driving them. No offense to anyone, but get to know what the car can really do before you go saying you need Nitrous, S/C or T/C, intakes, exhausts, flux capacitors, whatever. I feel that, again not to offend anyone, and I know I will get hate mail for this, but you younger guys who want to stuff every godforsaken performance part in your car should learn how to drive first. Please take that as constructive criticism. Not to say you do not know how to drive, and maybe other more experienced drivers can attest, but when you know what YOU are able to do as a driver, and what your CAR is capable of, it becomes a more enjoyable experience. I am really enjoying the "stockness" of my car for the time being. I am finding all of its "ups and downs" and know when to do what, and why. Now, as I leave work, I'm gonna go look for some unsuspecting, riced out, whiney ass tuned exhaust, huge winged, gold rimmed, sticker laden Civic to tear the **** up!! LMAO(I Love My P5
