i understand spanish basically b/c i was born and raised in MIAMI and had a cuban g/f for 3 yrs so basically i had to learn some of it!!! but i wont go to school for it =X

I know portuguese, so it's close and I took 4 years of it in HS.

I'm learning it right now, didn't take it in high-school, so i'm taking it at a Community College. Damn its hard for me right now. Just trying to pro-nounce the words is diffult for me. plus since its a summer course one day is like 3 class meetings...

I understand both Spanish and German and speak a little of both, with a little understanding of Japanese. Took both of the former in junior high and high school and am learning Japanese so that I can talk to my in-laws, my wife is Japanese. Also helps that I live in Southern California, I had plenty of employees and customers to help me keep up on Spanish.

French
Spanish - teh suk! I took it while in France so I understand but can't speak very well.
Greek - just remember to speak to me like I'm 4
German - I'm sad to say that someone took the time to teach me, it didn't stick...

I would love to learn thoughs 2 languages.

I was born in the Lion's Den (Madrid), lived in Sevilla for 18 yrs, mom is a Sevillana. Therefore... yes, I do speak, understand, and am Spanish. ;)

me no understando. gahaha just kidding. i took 3 years in high school and decided that was enough of what i could take from crappy spanish teachers and the language itself. i'm happy with yo estoy muy bien and gracias, pero no tengo hambre

No, but I used to know some from my years in TX and AZ. Knew some Korean and Japanese from martial arts. Haven't used any of it in years and it's all pretty much forgotten now. But my boy is about to go into 7th grade and will have spanish, which I'm glad to see. He should learn Chinese also just for the huge plus it will have later on as he enters the job market after college.

Living in Miami, Spanish and Creole are almost necessary to work in hospitality. Especially if you're in an authority position, so, those two I speak decently well. I'm also proficient in French. Learned German very quickly and forgot most of it just as fast :-(
