Something I have always done when i'm going to start my car after it sitting for a while, is leave it in "On" for a few seconds to prime the engine, then turn it over. Just so I can avoid cranking forever and trying to prolong the life of the starter equipment.
However, when I do it on the MS3, it cranks like immediately. So then I started thinking, does this have anything to do with the direct injection? Also, is this a bad idea to do on our engine?
