I just recently started to play at PKRonline.com, you can download it free. Check it out the site is awesome. I finally had the balls to play for real one night and did ok, then lost it all, then made it all back.
The problem now is, I won't play for real until I get the money I withdrew...it's been a month and still no money. I think the problem is that the site is from the UK.
Anyway....you can play for fun or for real. I was beginning to think I had a future at this but last night someone schooled me and I lost all my play money which was about 250-300k. I can already see the addiction starting.

I play Omaha and Texas Hold'em but just for small money, quarters/ loonies etc lol...I don't play online, no time, I barely make it on here lol.

You can usally download any software for free on the poker sites...And the payments you are trying to recieve are they in checks? Cause if they are, you may wait up to a month to see anything in the mail...Try having them put a direct deposit back in the bank for you

Ya I'm very new at this so I didn't know about the free download part and ya I guess it's a cheque they are sending me. It's been over a month actually.....so far I'm very discouraged. I withdrew early just to see how they work. I'm glad though.....money in the bank I guess. If I would have left it in, most probably my money would of been lost long ago. I'm talking about a withdrawal of 4 bills, that's why I getting nervous. I got no business playing for real but hey...I live and learn. Love the game though.

I find that I do have good sense for the game but no avoiding the bad beats..... a higher straight or a better flush and so on. If it's your night...it's your night. Your right about NOT getting into things you can't handle....jeez, my car is already exceeding my limits.

I used to play on partypoker but stop a couple of months ago and i played on bodog.net before...but i try to not play on the internet anymore and stick with live games...I sometimes go to local spots around my way, its a 1-2nl game and they got 5-5nl too
