i have been able to pretty consistantly get 5.3 0-60 times with my dashhawk, but today i ripped off one hell of a run !! 0-60.9 mph in 5.14sec !
i think i have finally mastered launching this thing. i plan on logging 0-60 again when i go to the strip with the slicks on.....i want to see it in the 4's !!

Not to burst your bubble... but I think you did it in 5 sec flat. It looks like the dashhawk started logging as soon as you revved the engine, so it must have detected some forward movement, slight coasting maybe? It appears you didn't actually start moving until like .15, or a little bit before .25. So imo, 5.14 - ~.14 = 5.0

astralraen - i don't exactly know how the dashhawk works, but it appears you are correct. i don't think that'll burst his bubble though, it's a faster time with what you noticed.

i did not launch in second..... 2k RPM in first with a good amount of clutch work ! you wwant to let the wheels spin but not to the point they are blazing and the car doesnt move ! i spun solid through 1-2 the let it grab in
3rd. 0-60 in 5.1 with 2 shifts !! this car is nasty !!

Looking at the graph there are to big bites taken out of your speed toward the middle. They are really close together though. Was that the shifts? It seems like a big drop in speed. Looks like 5 mph or so each time. Is that accurate?

i have tried launching in second gear several times both on the street and at the track.... this car doesnt seem to like it. that is a common thing on cars with a close ration trans like ours, but this car would need slicks and a high RPM clutch roasting launch to make it work.....i'll stick to 1st geat starts.

yes the 2 dips you see at about 42 samples and 82 samples are the shifts.

TruBoost - Please post up the results when you get em at the track, definitely great times. But since this was performed on the street, we really cant discuss it. Thanks for understanding.
