I am considering buying 18's for my car but i thought about it and all they would do would add weight and make my car slower... so i think ill buy light weight wheels for my car.. preferably 16 or 17 inch wheels.. what companies make good qualaty light weight wheels and wont drain my pocket book.... probably no more than $200 per wheel...i also want them to look bad ass... i would like to find black or gunmetal colored ones so they would look bad ass on a yellow mp3. and i am also getting a carbon fiber hood so the two in combination would look awesome..... thanks for helping me out...

If $200 is you limit, then the only lightweight wheel available in that prices range is the Rota Subzero or Tarmac. Most lightweight 17's for rims alone will take you above $1000. You can get the Rota's for less than $650 at most places. I think they weigh in at 16 lbs for 17's. ARD has some 18's that weight 17lbs on his P5 and their price isn't too bad. 17 inch volks will cost you anywhere from $400 to $350 per wheel, depending on who you get them from. So, how much you're willing to spend will determine how light you're gonna go. Hope I helped a little ;)

If your looking for a light wheel to auto X or somehting, may i suggest teh RX7 wheel. 93-97. They weight 16 lbs, and im sure if you can find them youll get them for less than 4 or 5 hundred. Also the Volk's are always sweet, but pricy. Good luck! :D

Just contact me and I'll make sure you get steered in the right direction. tirerack and discount don't reccommend the right offsets and I know a ton of guys who gotten screwed and rubbed on tire after installation.

The FD rx7 wheel is a 16,8 with the same centerbore in a +50mm offset. This I don't think will fit without shaving a little of the wheel pad and possibly will require 2.5" springs. This is what I had planned also for autox.

You can get 18's that are light as hell, the Rotas are awesome. I have these available.
