Who has the best bang for you buck tuner with the most hp gains

I imagine your car is a beast on the top end huh? IC is intercooler right? for exuast I was going to delete both resonators and maybe put on a different muffler. WOuld that flow close to as good as a cat back? I am also gonna do the test pipe of course.

I see there are some guys out there in the 12's, I'm not looking to go any faster than that. Looking more for all around fast. bottem end, top end and in the curves and stuff. I know it's not gonna hang with a vette or some true sports car, but I know it can be made faster than it is.

Yes it can. It will never be a 1/4 mile monster running sub 12's but you can make it fast. On the stock turbo you can get at least 300 whp which is enough to smoke lightly modded evo's, sti's, etc.

There is a good sticky post by tunersteve in the speed 6 section recommending some good beginner mods. 90% of people start with an air intake so look into those.

i dont know whats wrong with most of the people on theforums.. the speed3 and speed6 are absolut monsters!.. they are just as good as any car within their price range.. and when i say that i mean the evo and sti. shave a little weight off the speed6 and put em head to head with evo or sti and see the evo get ripd.. throw a awd system on the speed3 and u got urself the number 1 selling car in america.. our cars have much more potential.. tuners are just not reaserching enuff on our cars as they do on the evos,stis,335's etc. i dont know about ya but i will never put myself down for anyone or anycar, i own a speed6 and i love it.. so come on and stand up for your cars people.. if u wana complain then go and sell your fukin car and pick up a honda hatch and u can run 11's or 12's for aslong as u want.

Exactly my point. I think their will be someone who comes out with a better chip like they did for BMW. YOu can buy their chip for 350 that's worth 60-80 hp. And that's because there are couple different people making the chips so they have competition to lower the price. They found there was a big market for it and started making it. I think if someone comes out with one for the MS3 thats is making more power, they will kill all the other stuff out right now for our cars.

they really need sum more parts for our cars this is ridiculous.. i see fukin slow ass gti have more parts then us and dont they have a ko3 we have a ko4 and sumhow they are shelling out bigger gains with their chips and flashes.. this is absolut bulls***. i love my car and i had oppurtunity to buy evo,sti,335.. i chose speed6 because of its uniqe styling power and all. if the market for the speed3 opens up a little more then tuners will go apeshits with parts,flashes,chips and speed3 and speed6 fans will be happi.. cuz they got the same exact setups so what u do to 1 u can do to the other lol

get an sri and a test pipe and that should get you 35ish hp gains for 300$

WHAT? To the wheels? (rlaugh) I don't think there are any good options for tuning unless your heavily modded with this car.

Standing up for your car doesn't mean playing ignorant . I love my speed 6 but Evo's and Sti's have engines capable of handling more power. Once you start playing with over 350 whp in the speeds your poking death in the eye. Speeds can play with lightly--> moderatly modded evo's / sti's / etc. no problem but the potential isnt the same. The direct injection engine of the mazda is just hard to mess with. The options are available. Unichip, Xede, Cobb AP, CPE standback . . .

I'm not saying that I think that we can match the power or anything, but there is just simply not the competition out there making these as there are for the STI and Evo. Plenty of support available. Just have to accept that fact that speeds weren't designed to be track monsters but they can still be quick as hell.

i agree with mr jasonspeed3.. the effort has not been put into the speed's like it has into the evo's and sti... and when u think about it how old is the evo and sti line?.. they have had alott of time for mods and upgrades of all sorts.. evo+sti= boy-racer..... speed's= i chill but i can rip!.. srt4= EATSHIT!.... lol...... and i honestly would not trade my car for an evo.... white sti with gold bbs rims.. maybee..... =) lol

Not speaking of hard mods. I'm talking strictly tuning. There's the same amount of parts for the speed that there most other cars. I'm just talking about getting as much out of a tune as some of the other turbo cars. If the speed 3 is just that much tuned already and not much room to work, that's one thing, but I'm not sure if I buy that. But I have no tuning backround, so I guess I'll just have to do my hardware mods first and see if any tuners or chips come out that are any better when I'm ready to purchase mine.

there can be tunes that can make our cars flyyy.. its just that companies arent focused on brands like mazda... all they care about are bmw,mercedes,volswagon,evo,sti,GTR.. i mean come onnnn!.. dont we have a ko4.. and the fukin audis have ko3.. them chipd is more then us bolted and flashd lol..i gurantee u our cars will go 350+hp and 400+torque in about a year or 2.. from tuning and boltons lol..
