i replaced mine with a walbro intank. i am running a custom turbo kit. i notice that after 6psi car would run lean. after replacing pump i have not had any problems.

Added an inline (Pierburg). Stock pump couldn't support 5 psi or so. . .started to whine after hard driving.

Pierburg is great, makes a little humm, but nothing major. Allowed me to support 100 psi under boost without fade. Was able to peak about 120 to 130 psi, but couldn't hold it. . .so out went the FMU. . .but the inline fuel pump remains!

i couldnt hear a dump truck driving through a nitro glycerin plant with this open dump tube that every exhaust shop in town refuses to weld into my exhaust...damn podunk, usa.

I'm sorry man, I feel your pain. . .I can't get s*** done in this town either, so I always end up doing it myself. . .learn a lot, but it ain't always pretty.

Guess this means you won't be bothered by the new fuel pump. (One less thing to worry about.) Honestly, it isn't that bad. . .

ditto. replaced stock pump and put in inline pump.

you think thats bad you shoudl have heard me trying to drive, boost, and listen for the click of the clamp today...it was like 90 degrees i had the windows up, the carpet pulled back, the ecu unhooked and my ear down by the cupholders trying to drive on a deserted road.

???'s tp those with inline or new pumps. Especially if you have a wideband!

How does your car idle and run in normal driving? will the car still maintain a 14.7 AFR while in closed loop?

Which one is better inline or intank??

Also links and prices!

I know a shop here locally that can hook you up. Next time you are in town, we can get this done. They have helped me out without question.
