who has an APEXI NI muffler??

HELLO i just received my Apexi NI muffler.. wow that thing is huge!! and heavy.. but anyways.. i was just wondering.. how does it sound.. i've been hearing different opinions.. someone said it was loud and raspy.. and other's said it was deep and nice.. .. what do u think?? oh.. uhh for you guys with apexi muffler.s.. what diameter catback did u get? 2.25? or 2.5 someone told me 2.5 is good.. dunno what imma pick.. i'm getting it put on tomorrow ... for 100 bcuks with catback system.. and i need some response asap... thank you:'(

I got one, its not loud at all, which is good for me. Gives a little deep tone at high rpm.

if you are going turbo, you will need 2.5" to 3.0" cat back piping... I'm guessing you wont have a turbo anytime soon, so I will tell you the definite answer to how big your piping needs to be for a natuarly aspirated car like your own, is 2.25".... (two and a quarter) Hope your exhaust comes out nice.

my friend says my N1 muffler moves up and down when i drive.. i guess the muffler's not installed correctly? so MAC Daddy.. does ur exhaust do that? j/w

probably because the muffler mounts you used are normally for a heavy muffler can like the stock one, so now that it is so light, it just bounces around. I'd say get stiffer muffler mounts - I'm sure it is mounted correctly tho

the apexi is pretty heavy.. i would say a good 30 lbs almost.. so what do i do ?? get new mounts?

Is this the cat-back or just rear section?

I've only seen advertisements for the rear section. If you have a cat-back, where did you purchase it and how much? I've been looking around. Also, how's the performance gain on it?
