Who has a 7" screen w/ Scosche Kit?

I just installed my alpine ivad 900, I am using it with a generic mazda metra pocket above it. I find that (even with backstrap) the deck bumps around alot and even hits the ac connector underneath ( I can only get ac on level 1 or 6? weird)

I'm interested in the scosche becaue it makes the deck sit on top. When I talked to a crutchfield tech, he said that the scosche was made for a 6", not a 7" like my alpine.

Anyone have 7" screens that are using the scosche kit?

You need to brace the bottom and sides of the radio which is why you need the factory mazda securing bar that seperates the radio and pocket or you have to fabricate an equivalent.

The scotche radio kit is for an aftermarket radio adn the alpine IVAD900 uses a typical din opening and the thus the scosche kit should be fine.

By the way, congradulations on the Alpine, I have yet to see any where near an equivalent screen. It just so damn good. I NEVER even considered mobile video untill we got that screen in.

Mazda Secureing Bar

I just performed a search and came up empty.

Does anyone know what the name of the secure bar is, or the part #.

I would love to get my hands on this. Hope it fixes my AC issue.
