yeah, got the snows on, ordered them after we got that friday morning snow back in December. Getting your car stuck for 5 1/2 hours 1 mile from your house SUCKS!!! The stock tires were not gripping on anything.

yeah bushing, check alignment(AGAIN! which is why I'm thinking of switching), and oil change...

hopefully rich morton is cool to me...i hear ya saaboo....i had to go into work and i thank god for the lsd cus it was wheels spin until i got on the highway.....if my car get sstuck just another reason to stay home

Here's my car sitting pretty after coming down the mountain at Snowshoe, WV last Wednesday. The dirt ended up being almost 1/4 inch thick by the time I got home. The worst part was my wipers were frozen and the windshield fluid tank was a solid block of ice....add to the mix some big a$$ trucks going by and slinging sh1t all over the windshield on a curvy mountian road. Almost had to hang my head out of the window to see.

so far I've taken it there three times... once to complain about the alignment. They told me it was fine. Second to complain about the woofer, and suspension squeak. They ordered bushings and new woofer. Today, complain about alignment again after someone else has told me it was off (thanks clownphish's hubbie), and put new ordered bushings on....
btw, has anyone tried that woofer fix posted by toolebox, where you put better connectors on...you can do a search to find the thread. might be in how tos..I can't remember...


but I dislike the service\ so far...

the thing I didn't like about them was they think they are all knowing all the time. Second, I had a deposit on my car for 2 months before it came in, and went there to do the paperwork before they even took it off the truck. Anybody who has ever burned up a clutch knows that smell, right. So they get done with the PDI and bring it down to me to drive before I sign the papers... The car f'king stunk...BAD. They had just got done doing a 8 mile drive on it because they said "it has to have 8 miles on it before the safety features would kick on."

Personally, I think they just took it out and beat the hell out of it for 8 miles.

They are just a little shady there for some reason. When I had the hesitation...took the tech for a ride, the car was actually faster before the turbo kicked in than after. The tech said that is what a turbo is supposed to do. :wtf:

man i though my car was dirty saabaa lol.....im tryin that sub fix this weekend devil...thats if my dealer doesnt have the sub ins tock to replace mine.....of course i think thats hopeless so look monday for my post if it worked for me or not

let me know if you guys find a better service dept. as well! Mike R. is kinda cool at S&S, but believes that anything besides OEM will void out the warranty...

heh... yeah I agree about Mike R...

autobox: let me know about the sub fix. I think no dealer ever has them in stock, and it needs to be ordered. I heard it takes months to come in
