Recently my 2012 CX9 began making a faint, but annoying, whining noise. I discovered if I use the manual shift and shift out of 6th gear the noise stops. I recently had the transfer case replaced because of a "growling" noise.
I don't recall hearing that noise before the transfer case was replaced or right after it was replaced.
Has anyone had this problem? TIA for any advice.
