An automatic is probably easier to sell later. however, unless you prefer an automatic it's not worth an extra $1000 to sell a car a little quicker or get only $500 extra when you sell. No matter to me. I plan on keeping this car 10 years... If it lasts like my '89 Celica did. If you're in stop and go traffic or have young children, then get an automatic. If not, get the manual! I love my manual. I do think automatics are better in the snow because you can do that forward-backward-forward-backward thing easier. I live in TX, so that's not an issue for me.PJH said:I prefer a stick to an auto - on resales some dealers try may tell you autos are easier to re-sell.
Only advantage I can see for an auto is if you do alot of stop & go heavy traffic driving every day - still I'd opt for a stick.
ps - also prefer standard for winter driving in the snow.

We're trying to educate as many people as possible in hopes that they'll let their sons choose for themselves whether they want to keep their entire penis. And yes, my title (to the left) means what it says... as weird as that sounds. Check out www.norm.org for (no s***) foreskin restoration information.
