Which tire??

I have a pretty much stock Mazda 3 and I need to get some new tires for it. I have looked at Tire Rack and should I get All-seasons or what? Also any brand better than others? I would like to stay around $100 a piece if at all possible.

do you need all season tires? where do you live? do you have an extra set of winder steelies to slap on during snow?

I live in NC. Not much winter here but some ice a couple of times a yr. I dont have any steelies.
