Which slave cylinder for 1990 miata

I am looking for a clutch slave cylinder for a 1990 miata, my vin#JM1NA3516L0102915. looking online it appears that there are two different parts based on the chassis number which has me confused. Any help would be appretiated.

? Go to advance auto parts, they're like $30 and you don't have to wait on shipping (usually). They'll be able to look it up in the computer by year.

It is based on the VIN. There was a mid year change to the clutch slave cylinder (and the little piece that sticks out of the transmission)

The change was at VIN #111969/#111970(depending on who you ask)

Your VIN of 102915 is before the change over so you want the one for before.
I am not exactly sure what the difference is or if the other one will work or not.
