which plugs?

i bought the denso IK22's and they are awesome. Got about 40 more miles out of a tank of gas and the car runs extremely smoother

Then when would I want a step colder plug, meaning after what mod?

I think after you increase boost. I'm not sure what would happen if you went a step colder on stock boost, though.

Try running a search on here. Its amazing what you will find! In fact, there is a long post about plugs at the very top of this forum! You don't even have to search!

use a step colder when you up the boost if you go a step colder on stock boost youll probably run even more rich

The plugs would most likely foul out quickly and you would waste your money.

i personally am using NGK ZFR7F-11 (speaking of which i need to change mine)
Ok I'm confused, the higher the number the colder the plug is that how it goes?

Well if i'm running stock boost which plug will be the best for me...i'm assuming not the ik-22 b/c of the it's a step colder

I run the zfr7-11 gaped to .032. I am on stock boost and the car feels good and smooth. Idle could be better but I dont think its the plugs, its more my dirty erg pipe that has to be cleaned.
