which paint for my silver pro5?

i need to get a can of touch paint so i can to that "JDM grille" upgrade in the how-to section. i don't want to buy paint form those sites that charge $15+ for a 12 oz can. but neither the kragen or the pepboys in my town has the silver paint for my car. my paint code is 22V, but neither palsti-kote or duplicolor seem to make paint for that code. can anyone help me? maybe give me an product number so i can order it.

thanks for the suggestions, i was just kinda hopping i could find a can of paint for under $10, like the stuff you can by at auto stores. if anyone nows exactly what paint that kidkorrupt used in his "how-to" then please let me kow. thanks again.

as i understood it from him he used stuff from paintscratch.com

Weird...this was exactly what he wrote:

"For paint I went to kragen and got Duplicolor brand silver that was only like $3 a can. There motto is they match original paint and it worked pretty well. I also got duplicolor 500 degrees clear coat."

You could always use duct tape....i heard that works well. (smash)

exactly what I did. I don't remember the color name, but if you are at wal-mart just pick one that looks close, it's probably the one. It said "Ford" something something on it.

hey i went to walmart and found the paint for 3.50. it is pretty darn close to the 22V silver.

if you have a silver protege 5, the paint you want is:

Dupli-Color Import Auto Spray
E8800910W Artic Silver Metallic
UPC: 0 26916 80910 0

i got a 5oz can and followed kidkorrupt how-to and it looks great.

Mine is ... well I still haven't actually been able to tell the difference between the color and the factory color. I did my orange sidemarkery things too. Cheap mod that makes it look nice.
