which header?

hi people. i'm new at this forum. i'm another owner of a '97 1.6 gold miata. i've started making some minor mods on my engine: fuel presure regulator, B&S racing filter, stainless steel air pipe, accelerator, racing spark wires and changed the ending of the exaust. i want to make my miata aggressive at the 0-50 km/h. which of two headers to prefer: 4-1 header or a 4-2-1 header? i was told that a 4-1 is better for the "starting" but it blocks you a bit over 100 km/h.

I don't own a Miata, but if I was going N/A with one I would get all Racing Beat everything.

generally speaking, a 4-1 header will give you more top end over a 4-2-1 header. a 4-2-1 header will give you more low end. Again, generally speaking. If you buy parts from a US vender, make sure to tell them that your 97 has a 1.6l. Here in the states we got a 1.8l. It's not special order or anything, but it would require parts from a 90-93 Miada/MX-5
