Go to Carmax or your preferred high-volume used vehicle online seller. Search for CX-5s of various model years. If the VIN starts with J, it was built in Japan.

I thought they just reached a 15% deal but that does not necessarily mean you will pay 15% more for a Japanese car.

They did and he won't. The CX-5 hybrid will be released as a '27 and a lot will change between now an then concerning tariffs and many other things automotive.
