Where To Connect Grounding Kit

I bought a grounding kit but it didn't come with any instructions/diagram. I have a rough idea of what to connect to the negative terminal like the chassis and the block but I could use some help on what else I should connect to and where on the block.

I am absolutely no expert but I'm not following the science behind the claims that this increases the brightness of headlights, MPG or transmission performance. It sounds a little like the magnets that they advertise to help you stop smoking...

I had a kit for my old car that I never installed but I looked into where to hook them up and I was told that you can put them pretty much anywhere. One to the frame somewhere....ect...they are all diffrent legnths so stretch them out, see what reaches what, and bolt it to it.

Liek I said this isn't something I've done. I'd contact the company and tell them you want the instructions.

one to the neg. ter. on the batt.

it should only be five use the bolts that are there.

That doesnt tell us anything. There is no way people are gaining power by grounding out more spots on their car. It is a ridiculous mod and probably a waste of money.

aye guy im just telling you where i had mine hooked out.

I dont know about horsepower but it did make my windows go up a little faster.

It has been proven so smoothe thing out a bit as far as idle and other functions and there isn't really a "horsepower" increase but it does improve throttle response. The increased throttle response it kind of like horsepower on the butt dyno.

This isn't a horsepower mod. This is to improve the flow of electrical current through the car. The biggest reason I'm doing it is that I get shocked almost every time I get out of my wife's car which tells me that charge is being stored in the frame. I need to give it a place to go besides my hand when I go to close the door. Some nice benefits are supposed to be better throttle and transmission response as well as better radio reception and brighter headlights (not that that will be an issue since I just got her some 6000k HIDs).

Whoever linked to the Honda forums, I watched the video and laughed like hell. The Honda driver was talking about horsepower increases and all kinds of other funny stuff.

Grounding kits are nice they clean up a bit of the electrical issues people sometimes have for example. A friend of mine had issues with his cars headlights seeming to pulse a bit at idle when we did a ground upgrade for his audio system it cleaned it up. However I've never heard of the kit going to the CAI. For general audio grounding upgrades which is called the Big 3 you go from battery to frame , frame to engline block , and alternator to battery which of course is not a ground its a hot.
