Where to buy new 02 sensor?

Can anyone lead me in the right direction to buying a new front 02 sensor for my MS3? I have checked all over websites and no one carries them for our cars. I think SU has one on their site but I am not paying 400$ for a damn sensor. Is there a non OE mazda sensor out there that works? Thanks for any help at all!

Sorry man, but I think OEM Mazda is it for the O2s. Aftermarket isn't really geared up for these cars, probably b/c there relatively few of them. The top was $350 CAD and 2-hundred-something for the bottom one, when I inquired last month.

dammit............I cant seem to find it right now..But I swear I saw some oem Mazda 02 sensors at protegegarage for cheaper than buying from mazda...CALL KEN!!! or maybe you can find em on the website..but i saw some like couple weeks ago.

Thanks for the help fellas! I found the 02 sensor on PG's website and they want 364$ for it plus 25.50 for tax. I find it funny I almost bought a TMIC for cheeper than I am about to pay for a dang 02 sensor haha.

Is there any way I can buy a aftermarket wideband sensor and hook it up to the factory wiring? I highly doubt it but it could save me a few hundered bucks.

****...I sure hope this helps you..alot of money being spent..the lovly 02 sensor must be one of the bigger ripoffs in the oem partworld. Imagine no aftermarket or generic market out there and we all had to buy oem parts from dealers..we be owning these 10,000 dollar cars and spenind like 50 grand to maintain em.

I think this should solve my mystery static AFR. The 02 sensor deff is a rip off! I understand that it works as wideband, but a few hundred dollars for it is a bit absurd. If all parts had to be oem I don't think many people would be modding :). Thanks again for all the help guys! I'll be sure to post and tell if this fixes my problems!

Don't get the front and rear O2 sensor's mixed up guys. The front one you access near the firewall on the DP is the wide-band one that reads true AFR and it'll be more expensive. The rear one that you see from under the car is a narrow band and will be cheaper. Put the narrow band O2 sensor where the wide band one belongs and you won't get accurate readings at all on your AFR and that could lead to serious consequences.

It should be covered under waranty unless you are over 36,000 miles. I see you have a DP so is converting back to stock would be difficult.

I realize this, thank you though! I canceled my order and I am taking the car back to stock and selling everything. I don't even want to deal with the hassle of tuning or anything anymore.

Good luck with whatever you buy next! My car's been golden for me without any issues whatsover and you can see the mods I've got in my sig. What are you thinking about next btw?

After I return to stock I will be looking for a high HP 03 cobra or a 05/06 Z06 if the price is right.

^good choices.

Thanks!! I had a check in hand for 550 RWHP cobra before I bought the MS3 but the seller backed out and wanted to keep the car. So I decided to be pratical and get another car I could drive on a day to day basis (the ms3) now I think it's time for a strictly "fun" car. Ill be sure to post the new vehicle whenever I make the purchase.
