I've had a 3" cp-e DP on my '06 MS6 for a little while now, and have just now purchased a GHL catback exhaust to match ($425 local sale, mmmm). Obviously when I ordered the DP, I selected the smaller diameter gasket to match up to the stock CBE. Now that I'm upgrading to a new CBE, I'm wondering where I should pick up a proper gasket to mate the DP to the CBE.
I couldn't find one for purchase on the cp-e site (I've got an email to them asking about it as well), and searching around reveals the best bet may be purchasing a sheet of exhaust gasket material at a local store and tracing/cutting a custom gasket to fit. It that advisable? Or, am I better off purchasing a matching gasket from another online retailer.... and if so, does anyone know a part# or specific retailer to use?
