Where should HID cutoff be?

I never even thought about it, but when i lowered my car the headlights became a little lower too. Im wondering how to see if their too low. Say if i park 20ft from my garage door how high should the cutoff line be from the ground???

i installed aftermarket HIDs and my lights have been misaligned since. im too lazy to do it but now i think i will soon.
