I have a MSP3 with the Bose system, and i was wondering if anyone knew where the sub is located and how to access it.

It's a good little sub... I plan to use the raw driver in other project I'm working on (Computer speakers)... but.. that's exactly the problem... its only a 5.25" sub in a vented enclosure.

It's damn good for the size and the power they are feeding it.. but just not enough...

yeah i guess you're right..
i came from a system with 2 12s @ 1300 watt max each with a 2000 watt max amp
so this just doesn't compare.. lol

i wanna get a replacement for under the seats so i dont mess with the trunk space

I completely understand. Mine takes up about 25% of the space but just unplugs and can be removed. I have it held in place simply by hammering in small brass-brad nails into the bottom as cleats that then keep it in place and from ever sliding. Did the same on my Accord. Will post pics later today.

I like the stealth boxes, but wanted more than just a small 8" sub. Besides, not knowing how it mounts, I'm pretty sure it would require loosing my jack and don't want to be left stranded without it.

I don't haul too much in my car, but when I have, I unplug it and put it on the floor in the front and just live with the stock Bose Sub for that trip...as painful as that is.

Do you automatically have the factory sub and amp if you have the bose system? i dont have navi but i do have the bose with the 6 disc changer.
