where is a good shop in IL to have a custom box made

i wanted to know if anybody knows a shop in the Chicago area that wont break the bank and does good work to build a custom box for 2 12" to go in the back of my MP5 i have one shop in addison that wants $200 i thought that was a good price but if someone knows of a cheaper shop let me know. wilson

$200 is pretty good depends on what type of box you are having them build. Is it just a sealed box, port, or band-pass? Where is the box being installed in the P5? Corners or just to sit in the hatch area?

I am curious, because I have been designing my own box. Cannot decide how much I want to build it into the car or just leave it loose. Also I am only looking for 1 - 12" sub.

what kind of box are you looking for? my brother and I would consider making a custom fiberglass one for you since you are local

tweeter. i know they are a chain and (blah) but the one here in gurnee makes good boxes. actually, i reffered jeff (the guy you bought the seats from) there and they built/tuned his box.

Captain KRM P5 i looking to have 2-12" type r in the box i want it to sit against the back seat. i have to install the rear strut bar i would like the box to go as high as the strut bar but not as wide front to back side to side to fill the trunk area i was thinking of putting the amp rack behind the box so that i still have trunk place for a air bag set up later in time so tell me what you think and what the cost would be i would like to hook up a member on the fourm then go to a shop so let me know. wilson

i got a custom box with two kicker L7s and i still got some turnk space i recommend pro sounds on cicero i think its by diversy not to sure though the do real custom stuff

pro spunds is good but cost alot if one of the members can make a good box i would like to give them the money not to someone that owns the shop a member is someone that is trying to help me out and make some money a shop is all about making money
