I'm getting ready to change my oil and looked underneath and there is nowhere to jack from center front of car, its all plastic??? Do you guys jack it up from sides and then put jack stands under it to hold it, if sdo where do you jack from and where do you put stands?

Thanks for some quick reply's, just bought a new 200 dollar craftsmen floor jack but not sure where to jack from?

I use ramps. Makes it really easy for an oil change.

You can jack from the cross member where the rear engine mount is fixed, but it is way under there. You may need to drive up on a couple of 2X6s to get the jack under.

what ramps to you guys have? I bought some rhino ramps and the front bumper hit them. Now I'm lowered and it'd be even worse

I just bought some ramps from walmart yesterday and put 2x6's before the ramps and had no problem clearing the front bumper.

No, the small black wind diffuser at the bottom hits em.. that thing is meant to get all scraped up. I just shove the ramps under the bumper till they hit the tire. No damage since its only hitting that black piece and not the actual painted part.

Well I hate Ramps and FWD at least in my slick garage floor. I've screwed up with ramps way more then with jack stands so I'm done with ramps. The Rhino Ramps do work, they hit the front but they do work, getting up them is a different story, I'm always afraid I'm gonna go right over em. Well got my first oil change done, Castrol GTX 5w30 until I go synthetic next time(only 1100 miles). I also switched over to my favorite gear oil Redline MT-90. All in all an ez job if you have a 24mm(I know people say its 23, its not i promise) box end wrench or a short wall 24mm socket and a 1/2 inch driver, you cant get a 3/8 inch ratchet in there with a 1/2 drive converter. Now that I've done it once, it will be easy to do again. Took her for a spin, nothing really felt different, but i believe the gears where quieter when you slow and shift into first, I'll keep you all updated.
