I'm thinking about a masters in english. I'm pretty much done with my major, only one 400 undergrad class left. 18th century lit was alot of fun.

Well, the job I have is an hour commute and I work 10 hour days. I really need another job. I'm signed up for fall and will probably take 6-9 hours and graduate next summer.

Go for it, especially if you want to starve to death. j/k

I feel like a liberal arts degree provides the best all-around education. It is just a b**** to get a job with it, thus my MLS.

I knew I could get a job with the degree without totally wasting all the work I did as an undergrad, and it worked out just fine. My wife and I will never get rich off my salary, but we live comfortably and I'm surrounded by books. Great profession!
