Where Are the Cams?

Does anyone know of any new cam profiles that are coming out for the mzr?

i've been waiting for some for my n/a MZR since it came out. some say they're in the making.

not to be a negative nancy, but people seem to be having trouble keeping them in one piece as it is with full bolt ons, let alone venturing inside the motor....

True, but upgrading the internal elements of the motor might enhance those bolt ons and maintain reliability...

right now this is just for the DISI motor. if i had a set of donor cams for the 2.3 N/A i'd do it.

A guy on the 3forums was testing some cams but someone just hit his car, not sure if he swapped them into his new speed but at least that means companies are working on them.

Ive put some thought into this and i dont know if i would really want cams. On a stockish car your throttle and boost are still going to fall off in the high revs. For anyone with a k04... Even reworked, i think the benefits of the cams would still be out weighed by the lack of boost up top. I bet even wih cams peak HP/TQ will come before 6k. If thats the case, and when you consider there will be "some" low end power loss, i'm not sold on the idea. It will be great to see what the test car does on a dyno.
