When is it a safe boost level to run an HKS SS BOV??

Im just curious, since temporarily 9.5psi is about what we can run at until that is bypassed, would we still recirculate at the level of boost or could you vent atmospheric no problem? This is just confusing a little bit because i had heard 10 psi is what you need to be at to vent, cant remember where i heard that from, probably fast and the furious haha. Thanks

umm no. you can't just vent to the atmosphere without correcting it in some other form. well actually you can but your car will probably stall out on you due to the fact that its not getting the right O2 codes. not sure what this all has to due with the HKS but hope that helped alittle

Well i just said HKS because thats the one i wanted but im just wondering when i could put one on my car without having problems thats all. Later

thats a nice blow off ;) donno how ur gonna get it on since i haven't got my msp yet, hope you don't have too much trouble. but i don't think that the Super Sequential has a boost limit. i saw one on a twin turbo supra running like 24lbs. so i think that the SS will laugh at any boost you subject it too.

oh yeah my friend converted his recirculating bov to an atmospheric on his WRX and he says he isn't having problems. i told him he was running rich but he said it isn't that rich, just a little. donno bout the msp tho.

You might have a rough idle for a while. But it should not stall out to often. I have an APEXi bov that vent to the atmosphere and have no problems.

Also it sounds nice. :D
