Hi,

Perhaps Tirerack could help?????

I just got Kosei's and Direzza's and I'm going the piece of electrical tape solution.........

Hi John, I was trying to get this thread going so folks that want to have the system functional can do so.

If you live in the states use a site called Discount Tire Direct. They are based in TX so no sales tax and you search based on Model and they verify the TPMS.
I'm on Drag's 15x6.5 12lbs. TPMS switched over from steelies. With the help of a friend ;)

In theory, couldn't you just throw all four of the TPMS sensors in a capped pvc tube tapped with a schrader valve, pressurize it to 35psi and throw it in the trunk? It's just an honest question. I've never held a TPMS sensor in my hand so I don't know exactly how they function.

dont know if this helps but I take my non sensor'd race wheels with me to the track, leave the oem tpms wheels in the paddock and I never get any sensors going off for the tpms when running.

That's called a "Tire Bomb"<LOL> Don't go through Customs with it under the seat.

I've heard conflicting results. One one of the Honda sites a guy said it didn't work because the sensors were also expecting to see a rotational motion.

Most, if not all, wheels made now accept tpms sensors because all cars are required to have some sort of tpm system as of 06 or 07 (guessing on which year) and most if not all manufacturers have gone to a sensor in the wheel.

Yeah, my sensors didn't go off with the stock wheels in the trunk either. I think that probably speaks against a rotational component being measured.
