how much would the stock steel 15's weigh. in know the racing harts/dunlop weigh in about 40lbs (to ******* heavy) because this is my question. HCI February issue has a write up on how wheel wieght effects power.
they had two wheels OZ wilcards and Volk TE37 both were 17x7.5 and they were running R3S03 Hoosiers.
OZ wildcard VOLK TE
Wheel 21.625 15.500
wheel/tire 37.500 31.437
and if you look at the dyno of the test car the OZ (heavier) were anywhere to 5 - 2 horses lower the Volks (lighter)
so whats the hole point of this post:
1. to tell you guys **** *** for not looking at my reply in the DYNO DAY post.
2. to tell you that wheel wieght will effect the dyno and power (unsprung weight) our dunlop/racing hart combo wieght in about 40lbs THATS HEAVY
so because of the heaveir wheels we are losing a few horse at the wheels. at 18% loss we should be getting AROUND 115 at the wheels (around give or take a few) if you figure we lose around 2 - 5 horse for the heavy wheels we are looking AROUND 110 (give or take a few horses)
again they even went to Laguna Seca and the heavier wheels were around 0.40 secs slower lap times.
so in closing. QUICK THE BITCHING AND FIGHTING we are posting low dyno numbers because of the heavy wheels and 40lbs is heavy. also i would like to say **** *** TO MOST OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD. most of the people on this board are most ricy, whinny, childies people i have ever seen. Not all the people are (you know who i am talking about.) everytime i have posted a message to help people out it got ignored. so **** off.
to the people who run the board Thanx for making it man you guys rule. to the people who are ruining the board **** OFF. lata.
took out the bad stuff. sorry guys
