How do you determine the min/max tire size for a given wheel? For example, if I purchase 18x7.5 wheels, what would be the max recommended size?

Also, would running 225/40 or 225/45 be a better bet on wheels of that size? I'm still fairly new to this and wheels and tires thoroughly confuse me at this point.

Finally, what is the offset on our stock setup?

In short, down the road a bit I am thinking of purchasing the RE 30's from Volk (18x7.5) with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires (either 225/40 or 225/45). What do you all think about that set-up?

Stock offset is 52.5. Either of those tires will work but the 225/45 will be more likely to rub depending on your desired ride height and the offset of your wheels.
