My wheel is shaking a lot, just changed the tires, i took to the place for then to do balace 2 times already, is not the rim or the tires.

Anyone guess what may be my problem?

Tie rods, ball joint, steering rack, something not bolted down right with the wheels....

Are the wheels stock or aftermarket?

#2 - i changed the tires 1month and half ago, that would be my last tought.

#3 - yeah the rims are stock.

not really, when i bought it from the dealer yhey offered me wranty for 1 year. so i guess no.

I have 2002.5

why wouldn't the original factory warranty still be valid? should be atleast 3 years 50k miles

if not 4 years 50k

from 2002 and on, all Mazdas are covered by a 4 year/50,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.

take it to the dealer to check your suspension

Good information, so now for sure i now its out of warranty, i have 96mile on mine p5 hehhe

highway and city, i drive my car a lot, probaly 3000 miles a month, but bearing would make the wheel shake? i mean it shakes a lot over 70m/h, another thing i notice its a weird sound on the left front wheel when i go over something.

I've had a vibration problem with my car and have had the suspension checked a few times. Sounds like you're having the same problem I've had after I got new tires. Here's what I found, maybe it will help........if the place balancing your tires is not very good at it they may be doing it wrong. Because of our wheels they can't put wheel weights on the outsides of the rims, so an inexperienced technician may try to do a static balance. That is typically never good enough to get rid of the vibration - they need to do a dynamic balance using sticky weights near the outside edge of the rim and regular weights on the inside. First go somewhere and have them check your suspension to rule that out - a lot of places will do it free (Sears auto, Belle tire, etc, maybe the dealer). Then go back to the place you got the tires and make sure they do a dynamic balance the way I just described. I've had a problem because of this and I work at the place that did the balancing for me (ridiculous, huh?). I finally figured out what was going wrong and had them do it this way, also using a "high-accuracy" balance mode on the machine (which you might be able to request - or they might not know what you're talking about, depending on the place).

Like the above poster said, your wheel(s) is most likely out of balance...especially since it started after you got new tires. It's a sad fact that tire shops now days can't balance tires for s*** - they just flat out don't take the time needed to do a good job. This is even MORE true on rims where you can't put a weight on the outer lip (e.g. late model P5s and the MSP, since there is no outer lip).

You somehow need to find a good balancing shop. Good luck - it took me FOUR attempts and about $200 before I finally found one. It depends on the person doing the job, how accurately calibrated their balancer is, and how much time they spend to get the job done right. Wheels typicall come balanced down to 1/10 of an ounce from the factory whereas most tire shops balance down to about 1/4 of an ounce.

It took me forever to find but this guy is the best tire balancer in the entire continental US. I only take my wheels to him now.

Where do you live and where did you buy the tires at?

that isn't true, mine's an 02, purchased june 02 and they were still at 3 years/50k at that point

Oh, 1 more thing, it's NOT a bad wheel bearing because if the bearing is bad enough to make the wheel shake, you'd definitely hear it "groaning" as you drive down the road.

I 2nd that - sister bought a 2002 Protege and it's only 3/50 on hers. I think Mazda didn't switch to a 4 year warranty until 2003 models.
